Working for JDPC

About JDPC:
Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) Maiduguri is a faith based non-governmental organization that has been engaged in developmental work in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa State for the past 50 years. JDPC also focuses on Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition, Mental Health, Psycho-social Support (MHPSS) and other emergency programs reaching out to all persons on the basis of needs, regardless of creed, ethnicity, or nationality.
Northeast Nigeria has been severely affected by an insurgency led by non-state armed groups since 2009. Despite a scale-up in humanitarian assistance, significant gaps remain as thousands of people affected by the conflict have not been reached with adequate humanitarian support. To effectively respond to the crisis, JDPC provides a holistic support package including food assistance, nutrition, NFI, WASH, shelter, agriculture/livelihoods, Mental Health, and Social Cohesion for both IDPs and host families and communities across three states (Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe). Where possible, JDPC maximizes project impact and efficiency through market-based modalities and empowers targeted communities through participatory approaches.
