About JDPC:
Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) Maiduguri is a faith based non-governmental organization that has been engaged in developmental work in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa State for the past 50 years. JDPC also focuses on Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition, Mental Health, Psycho-social Support (MHPSS) and other emergency programs reaching out to all persons on the basis of needs, regardless of creed, ethnicity, or nationality.
Background:
Northeast Nigeria has been severely affected by an insurgency led by non-state armed groups since 2009. Despite a scale-up in humanitarian assistance, significant gaps remain as thousands of people affected by the conflict have not been reached with adequate humanitarian support. To effectively respond to the crisis, JDPC provides a holistic support package including food assistance, nutrition, NFI, WASH, shelter, agriculture/livelihoods, Mental Health, and Social Cohesion for both IDPs and host families and communities across three states (Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe). Where possible, JDPC maximizes project impact and efficiency through market-based modalities and empowers targeted communities through participatory approaches.
Our Approach:
Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) is initiating a process to engage vendors to provide and supply goods and services respectively for the underlisted areas. JDPC Maiduguri hereby extends an invitation to competent vendors in MMC, Jere, Magumeri, Kaga and Damaturu Markets to participate in the application process to provide the following assistance/ services to target beneficiaries in Borno and Yobe State communities.
Description: Expression of Interest for the following:
•Office Furniture
•Recharge Cards
•Catering services
•Cake and Snacks
•Fuel Vendors (Filling Stations)
•Vehicle Mechanics
•A/C Maintenance
•Refuse Disposal Management
•Carpenters
•Plumbers
•Electricians
•Stationaries
•Computer/accessories
•Construction/Drilling
•Food and Non-food items
•General merchandise
Vendor Submission Requirement: Each interested vendor should submit the following:
•Company Profile and bank details
•Copy of ID- either Driver’s License, National ID, or Voters Card
•Evidence of Registration with Tax Authority (certificate and tax clearance)
•Evidence of similar work with other NGOs
•Evidence of Registration with CAC
•SCUML Clearance
•Valid Email address/phone number
•Physical/current address of company
•Letter headed paper of the company

•JDPC Maiduguri is neither committed nor obliged to include any company and/or associated companies, agents, or contractors on any Application list.
•Be aware that this invitation to express interest does not guarantee that you will be requested to submit all other subsequent offers to JDPC Maiduguri; it does not constitute any form of agreement or contract between our organizations.
•JDPC Maiduguri shall not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this invitation.
•This request for expression of interest shall not be construed as a commitment by JDPC Maiduguri, nor shall it entitle respondents to claim any indemnity from JDPC Maiduguri by responding to this advertisement.
•This invitation is for you to express your interest in the provision of the above service and does not warrant further feedback from JDPC Maiduguri hereafter.
•If the Application documents are submitted in any location other than the address indicated, such submission will be considered invalid.
•Multiple Applications will not be acceptable.
•Only Applications that meet set down criteria will be considered, and the vendor contacted.
•JDPC Maiduguri shall conduct due diligence at Office/company of successful vendors before the final contract is signed.
Method of Submission:
Interested companies/vendor that meets the above requirements should submit their application along with complete supporting documents (scanned) to the following email address: procurement@jdpcmaiduguri.org; On or before 14th February 2024 no later than 4:00pm.
